1) I'm Canadian... socialized medical care.
2) My friends... they are the most caring, kind, creative, interesting people.
3) Books.
4) Paint.
5) The opportunity for an education.
6) Children... they have interesting perspectives on the world.
7) Good health.
8) The right to voice my opinion.
9) The lakes, oceans, and trees.
10) My teachers... profs, Lorn, Roseann, the kids in my life, and my cat.

I am thankful I have a job
I am thankful I live by the ocean
I am thankful that my family are in good health
I would be more thankful if kids from third world countries would have clean water, clean clothes, school supplies, food and shelter.

Friends, books, intelligence, hope, spring, wine, music, people smiling to me in the street, the flower I just got from a student, chocolate, intelligent conversations and my "retreat language" which is English lately.
