I'm having a Sweet 16 in September with the theme Night at the Oscars but I cant come up with any really good ideas....any help

Make it formal.
Have photos taken of all your guests.
Serve fancy appetizers and mocktails.
Give out gift bags to each of your guests w/ movie tickets, etc.
Set up a consession stand with popcorn and drinks.
Rent a projector and screen to watch a movie.
Gold glitter everywhere!

Congrats on your 16th and the only thing I can think of course the red carpet ...make it couples only...have a person on the red carpet asking for comments on camera....your party will ofcourse be a formal...have video screens up around where ever your party is and if you dont like the movies that won Oscars have your own best movie best song and so on and havae it in different areas ....

Have everyone dress like a celebrity. Pretend its Celebrity Halloween Time. Costumes are easy to find & it will be fun! Have everyone make their own Oscar and have a contest for the best looking dressed & the best loking Oscar!

Have a award ceremony where you have nominees and a winner and give out chocolate and the shape of Oscar. For example : My best kiss ever.
