Though I'm a (late forties) female I always enjoy "super hero" movie. Saw GH with son last night and was glad I eventually managed to drag my sorry butt of my settee and went to see it.

I really liked it but then I'm a real super hero movie fan. I think that the storyline was lame but the special effects and the feel good factor made up for it.

I saw it, it was good, but we found it very slow to start.. Nicholas Cage certainly is ripped for his one scene. I thought he looked a little lean until he took his shirt off.

Oh ya, back to the movie. I went with a guy and he said at the end, when they are kissing - 'Chick flick'. Well we figured they tried to hit everyone. Nicholas Cage stripped down, kissing and romance, fast bike, blowing things up...

I wouldn't rate it as a great movie by any means, but it was action packed and interesting, once it got you into it. I have certainly seen both Sam Elliot and Nicholas Cage do way better work and movies. Though we enjoyed it, I think the hype is better than the movie.

Oh and I too am in my 40s,he is in his 50s.

I've actually seen it twice, once I took my son and then took a few of his freinds, it is a good movie (I am not a hardcore Ghost rider comic fan so I don't know how badly they trashed the comic, but the movie is really goood) The plot was good acting good and the special effects highlighted the movie instead of overwhelmed it. Yeah there were a few things that just didn't sit right but OVERALL it was well worth the money for the tickets

I saw it last weekend... call me a giant girl, but I didn't know that it was based on a comic book.

It was a good way to kill a saturday afternoon without numbing your brain completely.

P.S. Nicholas Cage got RIPPED for this role - it was a nice little treat ;o)

Don't pay full price to see this in the theatre (go on cheap night). I can definately see this being played on TV a lot in the future - a la Bat man

I thought it was alright, but nothing special. It pretty much fulfilled my expectations in that it was all pretty much a cliched affair and that I could guess which direction the plot and characters were going in from the start. Still I quite liked Nicholas Cage in the role and the whole thing with the jelly beans in the martini glass and him listening to the carpenters (to avoid temptation as he puts it in one interview). The effects were cool too.

We went to see it last night, and I thought it was great! As with any Marvel comic-based film there was a touch of cheesiness to it, but that only adds to the fun. Thought Wes Bentley played a brilliant bad guy in it as well.

Didn't suck. Not Nick Cage's best performance and Eva Mendes needed a more supportive bra. Sam Elliot was awesome, as usual. Could have been better, but still entertaining.

Agree with Steve S. 100%. But my son (16) loved every minute of it.
