Usually they check at around 20 weeks but I found out at 15 with my son.

They usually can't determine the sex of the baby until 20 weeks, sometimes they can tell before, but not usually. Also it is not a 100% guarantee that the ultrasound will be accurate but it is generally pretty accurate.

The doctor can usually tell the sex at the 20 week ultra sound, if the baby is cooperative (not crossing his/her legs)!. At each appointment, ask the doctor what you can expect at your next visit. Hopefully that will help you know what is coming up!

Well only in extreme cases, the doctor inserts a long needle in through your belly button and extracts amnio fluid from the sac and can determine the sex at any time... but you'll have to wait until 4 months to be able to get an ultrasound to find out.

I got my results at my 20 week ultrasound. You should ask what the schedule of visits are. Don't worry about the receptionst. If she's so mean she refuses to answer, then complain. You have the right to know what's going on with your visits. There are certain weeks when bloodwork has to be done, or ultrasounds have to be performed.

Usually the doctor will do an ultrasound around week 20 and they can determine it then... If the baby "cooperates" and is in the right position! It is pretty common that they can tell!

typically at 20 weeks. Sometimes a bit earlier, sometimes a bit later. Depends on the skill of the ultrasound technician, and whether or not your baby is cooperating by being in a position where they can see between his or her legs.

About 15/17 weeks the earliest, usualy u have to wait 20 weeks for your scan but if you go private you can get it earlier.. they cant always tell though if baby has his/her legs crossed
