I don't think that they personally are trash, but what they participate in is trash and their gang is trash

No all gang members are trash. Some just joined because they were homeless and a life of crime and loyalty would help them have a sense of family. Gangs are stupid but you got to do what you got to do.

They are wicked. They kill people for territory that no one owns anyway. They sell drugs, and probably do drugs too. They hurt innocent people.
If the person is "forced" to join a gang that means he was running with the wrong crowd. He should've chosen his friends carefully.
However they can always change if they want to.
