Its kinda like that at McDonalds. You know you can get one pie for 90 cents or two for a dollar. Thats crazy!
I agree with you and know what you mean!

It stinks, but nothing is wrong with that. You see that in other places too: buy 3 get 1 free is basically the same principal.
I know of a place that once sold 1 item for $2.00 or 2 for $5.00, and a lot of people were buyint the 2 thinking they were getting a deal.

Yep and when you need a single razor for your three day business trip, they only sell packs of 8 at the airport.

This is good marketing. Store makes a profit either way, but if you buy two they get rid of more inventory also.

I only buy what I need... I'm still spending less... but if I want more... I'll take advantage... Don't get suckered into the 50% trap... just because it's on sale doesn't mean you NEED it...

I am not getting your query at all. Do you mean to say that 0.50 vs 0.59 is a big difference?
In US I believe every shop has its own rate. That brings more competition. I would welcome that. Buy at the place where the price is lower.

And if I am elected I will make it a law not to do this!
I hate it also when you have a coupon but have to buy two to use the coupon.
