New TNA Titles?

Question

As some of you may know, TNA's pulling away from the NWA franchise, meaning they'll have to return the tag and world title to NWA and create their own titles. Now since they're going to have to fabricate two new types of titles, do you think they should create one the equivilant to the IC, US, or TV title as well? Also, what're everyone's thoughts on NWA taking away their century old prestigious title, and TNA's choice to remove itself from NWA's circuit. Discuss

I don't think they should besmerch it like Douglas did. I mean the company has prided itself for having such a prestigious title, and to spit on it after all of the build put into it would be quite stupid, especially since it's been done. For anyone who wants to know, the title's going to RoH's Bryan Danielson. I don't know if that means it'll become RoH's new world, or if Danielson's going to defend it in another federation other than RoH, but it's going to be in good hands in my opinion as long as it's around Danielson's waist

I think they don't need another title. TNA will keep the names of the titles (X Division, Tag, World Heavyweight) but they'll have to redesign them and make them better looking. They might do an ECW/NWA in 94' where Shane Douglas threw down the NWA Title and therefore becoming the new generation of wrestling - ECW. Samoa Joe could do that at Destination X, if he wins, ending the partnership and become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion

TNA has licence to the NWA World and Tag Team titles until 2011. They are still recognised by the NWA as the world and tag team champions.

They are not the first non-NWA wrestling promotion to use the NWA name for their titles. Nor is it in any way disrespectful. When they have an NWA title that spins, then you've crossed the line into disrespectful.

Well I hope they keep the X Division, maybe even expand it so they have X Division Tag Team Titles as well as singles. I would personally like to see a form of Hardcore Title after all they have Abyss, Raven, Rhino, Brother Runt a number of people that suit it. They should get a Television Title (for the best wrestler on television) after all they have a large number of great wrestlers and the TV Title would be better to promote them and see who could be World Champion which obviously they should get one of them, maybe an International Title (for foreign wrestlers) they do have Sonjay Dutt (from the Himalayas), a fair few Canadians and Mexicans . As far as Tag Team belts go no company should be without them and they should get a Hall of Fame in a few years, I know it's not a title but it is on the same tracks.

I think it was cool for guy to say they were the NWA champ. Look @ the history. Total Nonstop Action is a stupid name they just wanted people to think about t**ts & A$$
