who will have a better year, garret atkins or ichiro?

Question

i'm in a points league where steals are 3 points, caught stealing is -1, hr 4, rbi 2, runs 2, strikeouts -1, walks 1, triples 3, doubles 2 etc, who shouild have more points between the 2 this year? i'm in a keeper league and could only keep 1

its a 5 player keeper league in which i will undoubtedly keep pujols, utley, wright and peavy...atkins had 824 points in these settings last year and ichiro had 741...this is a long term keeper league which i have been a part of fro 4 years

ichiro, undoubtably. garrett atkins is overrated, people want a sleeper pick, and go with him, because he doesnt play on a big name team. ichiro is in a contract year, and thats scary because we've already seen how good he is. without injury, id be willing to bet he breaks the record for most hits in a season, throws in plenty of steals, and hits a good .350

Ichiro is consistant as they come.He will have 200+ hits and 30-45 SBs each yr.. i has scored over 100 runs also evey yr. he hits 9-15 homers ayr the last 4 yrs. G. Atkins has had one great season .

if you get 4 for HRs and 2 for RBIs and 2 for Runs, then id take atkins. ichiro has the speed and can steal but i think atkins' power numbers are more important.

Ichiro will be playing for a hefty contract next since this is the last year of his current one. I think he will be in line for a huge season.

I'd go with Atkins. Check how their numbers were last year and calculate who had more points. That's the best way to compare.
