My husband likes the name Jasiah for a girl... I however don't think too highly of it. I think it is too close to Josiah the boy's name. What do you think of Jasiah? TY all.

yeah it sounds way too much like Josiah, try Jessa instead. Has more of a feminine ring to it, plus it still might appease your husband's love of jasiah.

I love the name Josiah or Jessiah for a BOY. Jasiah is not my style at all, esp. for a girl.

Jasiah is a beautiful name because it is unique, and there is a chance you wont here it anywhere else. your husband is highly unique and im sure your baby will be too.

no way,
there are too many nice girl names that are strong for that sounds made up name.

What about Josephine Lucille, nn Josie or Jo
Joan Anntoinette, nn Jo Ann

Nora , Nadia, Claudia


just name your boy Josiah

Im not really fond of it. Not only is it too close to Josiah but it she will also have to go through life correcting people misproununciation of her name. That can become irritating.

I agree with you it is too close to Josiah which i do not like at all. it sounds odd like someone is mispronouncing Josiah. good luck trying to change you husbands mind.
