You will go to heaven. But, if you lose, be careful. You might not go in heaven anymore.

It depends on your needs----you can learn some logic and problem solving skills, simple brain exercises such as learning to think ahead several moves thus learning basic strategy skills----mindless entertainment while waiting for slow computer response or long downloads to complete----If you think it is a waste of time then don't play---HOWEVER if you really need to be told that then maybe you NEED to play to strengthen your own reasoning skills.

Some people find it entertaining and the strategizing exercises brain cells.

My dad plays it all the time...before computers came along, he played Solitaire on a table with REAL cards....imagine that.

I used to be totally addicted to this game. I challenged myself to beat a current win streak. I got pissed though when someone cleared my stats (or did I get a new computer?) I was at over 10K games--yeah thats when I had lots of time...

but then again here I am on yahoo answers...if it isnt one thing its another.

Everything is a waste of time or not.
Just depends on how you look at it.
Everything we do does nothing but waste time.
It is just something to do while you wait for death.

A lot of us play solitaire too.
Someday you will learn.

That was a question by my son. Thank you friends for your answers. I feel it is much better than scraping each other on the orkut. Which he does all the time.
