Yes. The ubiquitos "brown building" is a phenomenon that has never been explained. Also, note that, in any given town, almost one-third of these buildings are vacant, over one-fourth are in poor areas, and the remainder have two or more broken windows.

I would think that brown is a common color for buildings. But I have no clue why one would want to know this?
