Every once in a while I meet women who are just plain WHACKO (to me)! I don't date them or show any interest, but I find it fascinating that they are so wrapped up in their own soap opera lives and so.... enthusiastic about sharing it with everyone once they've had a couple of drinks. What causes this behavior? It's very entertaining but doesn't seem to be very healthy.

Low self esteem, they feel they are not being heard or understood so they AMP IT UP so people will pay attention. Also, its a defense mechanism too. A lot of smoke and mirrors so you won't see who they really are because they are afraid you won't like it.
Since I gave up being a drama queen, I don't get as much attention, but I have better friends, get along with my family better and a better life situation.

Some people are naturally open and outgoing.
Some other people put on acts of being open and outgoing to mask their insecurities and/or to get attention. Eventually their acts become so habitual that they cannot revert to their "normal" selves.
Then there are the self-absorbed people who forget that others are just as interesting as they are, if only they would look outside themselves and listen to others. They miss out a lot in their lives by doing this.
It happens with both men and women. It takes all sorts to make a world, and it would be boring if everyone was the same.

some women depend on having a man in ther lives they don't truely know who they are as a person. so when they dont have a man they will do anything to get a man or at least their attention. plus girls all watch soaps such as sex and the city/friends etc. or maybe they are just mad!! some men are the same, they bug women and will do anything to satisfy her these are usually the men that women dont want! for some reason unbeknown to us we like a 'bad man' someone that doesnt pay us attention is more attractive and more of a challenge! and ww will do what we need to do to succeed! we really are crazy!!!!!!!

I think these types of people are blamers of their lives on everything around them but themselves. This doesn't feel right in the heart, so they spend most of their lives trying to convince people of stuff in order to take that feeling and apply it to what's missing in their lives. I know...it sounds kind of deep but these folks seem kind of desperate to convince somebody of something. Also as far as the D.Q.'s it seems that they desire the things they fear and loathe in order to prove that they're right. They play victim when they're really co-conspirators of their lives.

A-T-T-E-N-T-I-ON............ is the only word that can describe why we as women love to be dramatic!! and when we all get together..its only worse...lol....its the same as how guys act whenever their fav football team has just lost the superbowl game....perfect example-- just as we are dramatic, guys are too
