I'm sure everyone has heard about the online photos of these two women. To make things short the black was kicked off the show while the white one stayed for doing the same thing. Many of the excuses are that the Frenchie Davis took money for her photos, but the show kicks you off for anything tat may look the show look bad, regardless of money received. So money is not the issue. You have Frenchie a overweight black woman with short hair who took photos, but has incredible voice and possible could've won that season. Antonella is a white woman who is beautiful by most American standards long hair and thin, also took photos, but struggles every week and probably by the opinion of most should have been off the show weeks ago. I believe the show may not be racist by color, but I believe the way both contestants look have a lot to do with Idols decsion to keep Antonella. Which proves that the show is about looks at not talent. Let me know if I'm wrong or not.

Excel you might be right about race bing a factor, but I think it has a lot to do with looks for the most part. John S how am I racist for stating the facts? And I just remembered Nikki McKibben from the top 3 on season one of Idol was a former stripper.

Well, first off Antonella is NOT white, she is dark and ethnic looking perhaps she is Mexican or Italian.

Back to the issue at hand, I do believe they kicked Frenchie off because she is black. Antonella while she is not white, she is not black so she was permitted to stay.

Race has to do with everything, because the world is so racist.

Remember how Vanessa Williams lost her crown because of her adult photos? Well, the new Miss USA was a coke head and they let her keep the crown. To me that is obviously racist, since Vanessa was mixed and the coke head was white with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Listen, they're both skanks. Antonella is a skank, not because she allegedly posed nude for her boyfriend (nothing wrong with that), but because she's a skank.

The story I've heard about her is that she posed for the guy who then turned on her and put her pics out there. Perhaps not great judgement on her part, but she's the victim.

The other woman apparently willingly did whatever it was she did, and for pay? I'm not clear on the details.

But you've got her an amateur and a pro. Anyone can make a stupid mistake in judgement, but it takes a little more effort to be a ho.

It's certainly possible that A's looks helped her, but so what. Life's unfair.

It is certainly not a race issue here. You may think you have the facts but you do not. "Idol" is far too big of a hit show for Fox to allow anyone to taint the show with the charge of racism.
I agree that Antonella is by far the worst singer to ever get this far, but it is public votes that keep her there-not her talent. The producers also are aware of how poor she is doing. They would not jeopardize the entire show to keep a dud on TV so they could be racist-it does not make sense.
Yes, she should go-but as far as your charge, you must not have all the facts.
Maybe you are unnecessarily sensitive in this area. You should examine your attitude, it may be you who are the racist.

The show has always been about looks over talent. Sometimes personality can play a factor, but it's not like Antonella has one of those either.

I believe that it is ludacris that anyone would even consider the fact that race had ANYTHING to do with this decision. I can't believe how obsessed this country is with race...this obsession is, in itself, dividing our country and PROMOTING racism. Frenchie was kicked off, because what she had done was unnaceptable...not an American idol. She volunteerily displayed herself on the internet. Antonella (although, I am glad she's gone...she's a terrible singer) had no control over the release of those photos. They were private photos (activities that many of us engage in all in fun), and she was betrayed when someone she knew released them and they went public. She had no control over that, and you cannot punish her for that. The judges made the right decision.
P.S. AMERICAN IDOL...Melinda Doolittle has this one won!!!

Well, Tara Conner took similarly risque pictures and she's still Miss USA. Personally, Antonella needs to be kicked off because she can't sing.

You are wrong about the race of the violaters not being a factor. Frenchie was a force to be followed. Her voice is phenomenal and she would have won. If they allow the caucasian to stay in it is nothing but RACIST!! She should have been disqualified too because they did the same thing.

Yes they are wrong. Both women should have been kicked off the show. They both did the same thing, there shouldn't be a double standard.
