Great Britain is the largest island of the British Isles. It lies to the northwest of Continental Europe with Ireland to the west and makes up the larger part of the territory of the United Kingdom. It is the largest island in Europe, and eighth largest in the world. It is surrounded by over 100 smaller islands and islets.

Anthony Charles Lynton Blair (born May 6, 1953) is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, First Lord of the Treasury, Minister for the Civil Service, Leader of the Labour Party, and Member of Parliament for the constituency of Sedgefield in the North East of England. As a member of the British Cabinet he is also a Privy Counsellor. His official residence is 10 Downing Street, London, SW1A 2AA

Blair became leader of the British Labour Party in July 1994 following the sudden death of his predecessor, John Smith. Under Blair's leadership, the party won a landslide victory in the 1997 general election, ending 18 years of government by the Conservative Party. Blair is the Labour Party's longest-serving prime minister, the only person to have led the party to three consecutive general election victories, and the only Labour prime minister to serve more than one full consecutive term.

On 7 September 2006 Blair publicly stated he would step down as party leader by the time of the TUC conference in September 2007, but has not yet given a date for his departure.

He is a performance artist, role-playing a megalomaniac prime minister completely cut off from reality and utterly self-obsessed.

The way he stays in character all the time is awesome!
