I think the lyric was "Excuse me while I kiss the sky", but I cold be wrong.

I don't think he was, he my have been, he may have been bi.

All I know is he was one of the greatest musicians in history.

i doubt it. i have recently listen to his music and seen some of his record covers. if he was gay , he would have had naked guys on some of them ,cuz one i saw had a whole bunch of naked women ( which kinda grossed me out ,but any way) on the cover of his record.
