First of all, the tomb is NOT that of Jesus, as He is physically risen from the dead.

The Chevron has many possible meanings throughout history, including being used as the basis for the "star of David", a huge symbol in Jewish tradition. If you take 2 closed chevrons (or triangles) and invert one over the other, you end up with a six-pointed star, or the "star of David".

However, the Chevron on this particular tomb has a large circle under it. These 2 symbols put together are associated with the "all-seeing eye" (look at the back of your dollar bill at the top of the pyramid). This was a common symbol used by the Knights Templar, now known as the Masons. It is likely that those symbols were placed there by the Knights Templar many centuries after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What reason they had for placing those symbols over that particular tomb is likely to remain unknown for eternity.
