I currently sell Gold Canyon Candles. I am considering signing up with other companies as well and setting up a single website to sell everything. Call it a "one-stop-shop" if you will. My question is this: what products and company(ies) would you like to see available?

Thanks for your input! :o)

I'm an Independent Consultant for Topline Creations...I love it! We have really cute scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies. The start up is low, with no minimum to buy. (I used to do Stampin Up! but it has a $300 per quarter minimum.)
Before you sign up with another company, you should double check your Gold Canyon distributer agreement...it may have a Non-Compete clause, which means that you can't be a distributer for another candle company...or if they're really strict, you may not be able to be a distributer for ANY other home-based sales company. The same goes for any other companies you decide to sign up with...check for a Non-Compete clause to see if they will have a conflict on interest with Gold Canyon.
That being said...you don't want to sign up with a bunch of random companies. Candles and Tupperware are totally different goods...you don't want it to seem like you are having a garage sale! I would try to stay with like items...what about making your own bath and body products? That seems to go hand in hand with candles...you can custom blend the scents to match the scents of your candles. You can design your own labels and sell them on ebay...YOU keep all the money. I do this on the side too...so far I haven't made enough to quit my day job - but it helps pay the bills, and helped TREMENDOUSLY at Christmas time!
Good luck!

Hi I sell Mary Kay and I team up with other consultants to network and party swap. The most successful one has been tastefully simple. everyone likes to eat or entertain. They make great gifts and a consumable product.
Of course since I sell Mary Kay believe in the product and would recommend it as well. It also has a very generous business plan one of the highest paying in the direct sales industry. I purchase from Tastefully Simple for some of the same reason my customers purchase from me convenience and service.
I look for things I can't get anywhere else when making a purchase from these other parties
I like Pampered chef but you only need so much and I didn't get as big of a response.
I have hosted Premier Designs and did okay with that limited
Out of all the home decor parties I still think Home Interior has the best product selection. Home & Garden and Southern living at home are two others
Hope that helps
Good Luck with it !!!

I personally like Friendly Home Parties - they have a huge selection of different items. You might want to consider your second company to be one of the ones that specializes in a specific area that won't directly compete with your candle sales. Tupperware is a good choice. You might also consider one of the scrapbooking or rubber stamp home party lines, especially if you're the crafty type. Discovery Toys might also be something to consider.

I have never cared for these home parties. The philosophy of having to buy something so our friend / host can get a free gift has always rubbed me wrong.

I did have a lingerie party once and it was a hit but I will never do it again for y friends felt like they HAD to buy something. I felt terrible for days after wards when I finally realized this is how some felt.

I know this is not what you asked but gave you my opinion anyway...

Happy Thursday !! : )

My brother started with Immunotec analyze approximately 10 years in the past and he makes very almost a million money a 365 days in residual earnings. I even have never been partial to direct promoting and marketing and their concepts, yet those people sell a organic drugs authorized by skill of Medicaid and Medicare called Immunocal which reinforces the Immune equipment in this type of trend that via skill of comprehend mouth the purchasers pour in. I could have started with him somewhat of being skeptical.. It starts off very sluggish and demands minimum to no investment. you could never provide up your interest till it particularly is going to become stable. provide it a try. Moises
