Use cosine rule when all three side length are available. You can get the angles.I would leave ot to u to find out since it is always good to do the problem after u get a hint.You can not use sine law.

I'd guess Acute, Obtuse means one of the angles has to be more than 90 degrees. Supposing the base is 10 inches and the other sides don't equal each other, it can't be a Right triange (1 angle 90 degrees exactly). Obtuse would need a base that is longer than both sides and still be able to touch. Ten inches is too short to construct a triangle where all the lines could touch to make an Obtuse triangle.

26^2 = 24^2 + 10^2

676 = 576 + 100

676 = 676

According to Pythagorus theorem (not only so but actually), for a right triangle, the square of the longest side is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides i.e. the area of the square drawn on the longest side is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares drawn on the other two sides.

Therefore, the triangle is a right triangle and one of the three angles cornering the triangle must definitely be 90 degrees.

Dividing the sides by 2, I notice it's the well-known 5-12-13 triangle which is right-angled, since 5^2+12^2 = 13^2. If you didn't spot this, you could calculate two angles from one of the semi-perimeter formulae, and the third using the fact that the sum of the angles is 180deg.

If the sides of the triangle are a, b, c, and a + b + c = 2s, one of the semi-perimeter formulae is:
tan A = sqrt[((s-b)(s-c)/(s(s-a))]

Its a right angle triangle-:

26^2 = 676

24^2 + 10^2 = 676

i.e. the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides.

26^2 = 676 (A)
10^2 + 24^2 = 676 (B)
A = B therefore it is right angle triangle
if A>B its obtuse angle triangle
if A

Yup by pythagoras... sum of squares of two sides (10 & 24) is equal to square of third side (26) ..hence right triangle...

Pythagorean Theorem

c² = a² + b²

√c² = √(10)² + (24)²

√c² = √100 + 576

√c² = √676

c = 26

This is a right triangle

See is the sum of the squares of the two smaller sides equal to the square of the largest side. If so, then it is a right-angled triangle.

this triangle is a right angled triangle.According to pythagoras theorem a^2+b^2=h^2.
10^2+24^2=26^2=676
therefore this triangle is a right angled triangle.
