How can it ever be a suitable place of work for females who are mostly not or never as competitive as the male?

Absolutely, our culture is based on the Alpha-male mentality, men are more outwardly competitive, it's the nature of the beast.

Women lean toward being more protective than competitive. But when women are competitive we tend to be more vicious than men. I think that the viciousness is stemmed from the combination of competitiveness and protectiveness.

The old adage "don't come between a mother bear protecting her cub" is not so far fetched.

is that a challenge? Women are becoming more competitive everyday and I know it's scary for the men who are becoming more sensitive and well..... girly everyday but that's just the way the world is heading.
