I agree with the above, but there are some methods you can implement on your site to prevent users on a basic level.

For example, if you go to the following url (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/index.html), the top 3 links in the main body allow you to use a scripting language called JavaScript to prevent users browser from saving the file. This is slightly flawed due to the fact that a user can disable JavaScript functionality and thus bypass your prevention method.

Also, you can add the following line of code to the "head" section of your pages:

Use this script to disable the "Image Toolbar" functionality in IE6+. This feature allows your visitors to easily save, email, or print images off of your site.

Otherwise, that's about it.

I agree with Javitz 10; there is little you can do to prevent surfers from copying your webpage or any of its contents. Bankers and other financial insitutions, in an effort to prevent phishing websites, have special security software which detects when contents of their webpages (e.g. bank logos) appear on other websites on the Internet but the software can not prevent someone from copying the content in the first place. What you can do is restrict who has access to your webpage but beyone that there isn't much else you can do.

the short answer is you can't

You're best bet is to use flash for your imaging but even then anyone that knows some basic tricks (or anyone with a google search for that matter) could find a way around it.

sorry man, it's the internet....what do you expect

remove the computer from your home or wherever you are. OR setup everyone else on the pc to have a limited account and change their settings to not be able to either access internet or any options at all.
