i am a gooner, but still i dont think walcott is ready to feature as a striker in the first team. he could play in the league cup, but the league and other top competitions are not suitable for him. he is good player with great pace, but he tries to go past defenders and fails. he makes a good right winger though

People like to exaggerate over youththey think hes going to be the next best thing, and concentrate on the good things he does, and never see the wrong things. This is what Arsene and Sven did. McLaren has come to his senses and doesnt play him

The guy is active, let's give him some credits. He reminds me of those days that I used to play for the REDS in my teens.
I don't think he's being overrated - it is the commitment he has shown that sets above the rest.
