I want to sell my work truck. How do I remove the detailing (company info)? I do not want to spend $ on a new paint job.

try using running hot water on the decals run water over the decals then while the ware is over an area start peeling using your finger nails. Try using rubber/latex gloves so you don't burn yourself. After the detailing has been removed wax the are to remove any excess stickiness.

Depends on how it was applied. If it is painted on, you will likely have to paint over it. If it is a vinyl decal, it can be removed in several ways. An auto paint store will have a spray remover you can use, or you can try peeling it off by hand. Use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive, then peel the vinyl off. Use Goo Gone to remove the remaining adhesive, then wax the area.

Heat them up with a hair dryer and peel them off. Then get some adhesive remover for the left over residue. And chances are you may need to buff it out, but try waxing it first to hide any shadows left over from sun fading.

Try using a heat gun (a hair dryer might do) and a plastic scrapper. after most of the plastic is removed, use acetone to clean the remaining gunk. And a lot of elbow grease. Then wax the area.I have never found an easy way to do this.
