I am pretty sure is something to do with the amount of answer you give in a specific category (regardless on whether you get the best answer or not)...
If you reach a very high number of answer in that category your a e Top Contributor...in that category

Just keep asking questions and answering other peoples in a certain category.... and give good answers so you'll get best.

you have to get the top 4 number of best answers in one of the categories.

maybe it has something to do with how many questions you ask, I really don't know because I don't have one either, and I really don't want one. It does not make the person who you are now.
