I'm a Packers fan but since i live in central, il i'm forced to watch the bears or watch nothing. They offered Briggs 4 years 33 million i believe. Take the money and shut up. Suppose they give him the money he wants and then he gets hurt for the entire season, now they would've wasted their money. I'm not picking on briggs b/c he's a bear, this goes for everybody including the packers. Stop worrying about how many cars u think you need. Stop worrying about how many condo's u wanna buy your "boyz". Be glad your getting paid to play a game. And the Packers are just as cheap if not cheaper. We let Ahman Green go and we haven't attempted to get a running back. I know u don't wanna hear about the Pack, but I feel your pain.

I believe that football is the strive to be the best.. What does money have to do with it?? I think that maybe the bears have got the right idea.. You play for the bears for the love of the game and the respect you get from the organization and from the fans.. Pretty good to be cheap and end up on top wouldn't you say?? And what does that say for the bears??? Maybe they have the right idea?

giving lovie smith a contract after coming close to a championship and then the year after that going to the superbowl. that was cheap. but the Lance Briggs issue is not really that he is not paid enough, he's just pissed that he was franchised (and being franchised does not mean you are paid little amount, being franchised give that player a whole lot of cash)

Maybe because they aren't the top team. I like the bears myself, but I really can't explain the details, but maybe they have the reason on some website that has to do with the bears. They should have won the super bowl.

The team is still owned and operated by the Halas family. As legendary of a figure George Halas was and deservedly so, he was very tight with a dollar.
