Yes. Sometimes someone who should have just gone on Jerry Springer's show somehow gets the D.A.s office to take them seriously. The prosecutes know it's a ridiculous case, but they think it could be funny, so they prosecute people like a woman teacher who had an affair with a 6th grade student, or a teenage girl who has never been pregnant, but a baby popped out of her while she was in the bathroom and she abandoned it. This gives them some good anecdotes to tell at parties.

Yer...I was in court once just as a viewer, but before we all went in the defence, prosecution, arresting copper and the accused were all sitting there laughing and joking like they had known each other years! Obviously once in court they tore the accused to shreds. Actually thinking about it now, thats not right is it?

no, I think they are usually serious about most things, but once in a while off duty, they probably get into some serious fun

...yes...I know mine was shopping before my trial...she showed me her catalogue........incidentally, I got off....she's a s hit hot solicitor...hence the casual attitude no doubt.....
