I have found that because some women actually enjoy sex and (gasp horror) initiate it, they are considered to be sluts or the local bicycle. Sure there are women that are like this but I am in my early 20s and am confident in myself and my body that I can really relax and enjoy sex so as a result I am considered to have loose morals and am easy. The ironic thing is I have been with my partner for 8 years and have never cheated on him. Why the double standards between men and women???

Isn't it interesting? When a man says "she was just too easy, what a turn off"...I wonder if it ever occured to him that he was JUST AS easy and that perhaps the woman is thinking the exact same thing about him. But instead of holding himself accountable for his own actions he projects his issues on to her. How convenient and just another way some men twist the responsibility away from themselves and on to women. The worst part is, women have been BLINDINGLY accepting this pretense for eons...and so have men.
Women everywhere have been accepting the lie that a womans level of 'morals' or respectability has some how become the man's decision??

I'm tired of hearing women say: "do you think he'll respect me if I sleep with him too soon". Who cares what HE thinks. Women should only concern themselves with what they think without the influence of what a man thinks...or thinks he thinks.

ADD ON:
Look, perfect example from Geoffrey above. He seems to think that SHE was 'easy'...but in no way did he mention how 'easy' HE was. Remarkable! I rest my case.

EDIT:
DEROVIUS your statement is profoundly REVEALING and frightening. Do you realize what you just said? Read it again.

Yu Yevon: Wake up.

I don't think enjoying sex makes a woman easy. It's how easy it is for a man to get sex from a woman that makes her easy.
Who says you have loose morals if you've been with the same partner for eight years. Doesn't make sense to me.

Hang on, Rain. I never said I believe there is such a thing as "easy" or that any woman should be described that way. I was just describing how the word is used and why it is not the same as enjoying sex.
Also, I myself am not that "easy" - for a man anyway...

Here's a fact that everyone will give thumbs down on because it defies their beliefs:

Women are considered easy when they have sex with many men easily. Men are considerd studs when having sex with many women easily. The reason why this is, is because women generally don't approach men for sex and relationships. Men generally approach women for sex and relationships. Men have to work hard at coming up with the right things to say to get a womans attention. Women generally make themselves look attractive and wait for men to approach. they then decide which men they will turn down, and which men they like.

Point is, to call a woman a stud for having lots of sex with men is ridiculous since there is no work involved. Most men will have sex with most pretty girls who approach them, so how is she a stud? There's no real work involved. She's a sl*ut or easy because it's easy for women to sleep with most men,

It's ridiculous to call a men a sl*ut since only the most Don Wan guy can be lucky enough to get many women to sleep with him. It takes work, thats why he's congradulated by guys who fail in the dating game, & call him a stud. But because of PC culture, people don't see this obvious fact.

no no, it's not like that, when people consider a woman easy, is when their sex life becomes public.... i bet you don't feel easy cause you've been with your guy for 8 years and you can enjoy your sex plainfully.

If you were with 10 guys a month and people knew it, then you'd be called a sl**t! why? cause according to our society, that's not correct for a women to do... but, you can do it, just don't make it public.
