Just a couple of ideas: It could be your Thermostat. Thats the little doo-hickey that regulates your engines temperature. If it malfunctions, it will cause the engine to shut down.
This also could be a moisture/condensation problem as well. You may want to make sure all hoses are attached and tightly sealed. Good Luck!

Your problem is probably located in your Cap, rotor, wires. They are breaking down and arcing. To tell for sure get your truck running smooth, take a spray bottle of water and gently spray on the wires and cap, it will start running rough. When you replace the cap, rotor, wires ( inclucing coil wire / make sure connection at coil is not corroded ) also replace the plugs, since you are already there, will save you problems later.

It probably doesn't want to go
out in the rain.
Check the automatic choke.
It sounds like a gas problem.

i can think of 2 thing one being a bad cap an wires,,,letting moister, getting under the cap, ,an getting on the plugs,,,,are you need a tunes up
