We've been friends for ages, I know that forum that he visits, he posts messages there often at times I don't see him online, should I confront him, ignore him or block him?

The thing is, he's ben a good friend of mine for years! and when we talk it seems very normal...I'm just wondering why would he do something like that?

Why would you block him?
Maybe he doesn't want to be interrupted by anyone and he has blocked everyone.

You've known him for years so your options are limited but with inside knowledge. Obviously, he blocked you for a reason so if you are really good friends ask him why he did so, if you aren't that close just block him and get on with your life.

i have msn messenger and yahoo!...many of my friends log on, i say hello and they ignore me, then 5 minutes later, they sign out...either they don't want to talk, or are too busy with their lives to even say hello. as far as your situation, i will not block, or remove....you never know what is going through that person's head. just keep them as friends there, eventually they will say hi...if not, and 5 years pass, then erased them.

you will have to ask him. The only reason I can think of is he doesnt want to talk to you.
I know myself when I have recently had a spat with someone I have deleted her from messenger, my email, my mobile, and deleted all messages from her, it is cathartic.
At the end of the day if you have had no spat then you have to confront him, if he doesnt want to have anything to do with you, then do like me and cut them off that is what they are doing to us.

I would confront him, maybe he doesn't realize that he has blocked you. If he wanted to block you ask why.

Maybe he doesn't know you are blocked. Most of my friends are technology challenged. Well, either that or they all block me. lol

... just because he doesn't come online doesn't mean he blocked you. maybe he didn't feel like signing in or just wanted to be alone.
