Is that a new car or a newly overhauled engine with new piston rings?
New cars today dont require a break-in period. Just normal driving for the first 600 miles.
Newly overhauled engine with new piston rings have a short break-in period. Around 1000 miles of normal driving under 50mph should be ok then another 1000 miles under 70mph. Be sure not to use synthetic oils during the break-in period to allow some wear to take place so that the valves and rings will properly seat. Replace engine oil after the break-in period to remove whatever metal shavings generated during the break-in.

Go easy on it for 1000 to 1500 miles, then drive it like you normally drive. 65mph is good, and don't accelerate hard, or take the engine to redline.
