a hpt actually showed up positive? i am 7 days late and felt i had some symptoms but my test just said negative even though the negative was very very light(could that mean something)?? just wondering i am planning on taking another one maybe monday if my pd doesnt come .

I took a at home test after I was 2 weeks late i felt very sick so I kinda knew i might be preg. I took 3 test and all 3 showed negative very lightly in blue. I went to my doctor and she tested me possitve about 3 weeks after being late with my last period.

Both times I was pregnant, I waited 4 days after my period and got very faint positive lines. I would think that after 7 days, you should have gotten a positive result if you are pregnant. If you are experiencing pregnancy symptoms, you may want to call your doctor and have them do a blood test.

I was 2 months pregnant before the hpt came back positive and trust me I was taking them like crazy cuz I wasn't ready to be pregnant yet. It is possible you could be pregnant. Just try and wait till monday but if you can't maybe you could call the dr that might ease your mind. Good Luck

I think it just depends!! I took one the day after i missed my period with both of my kids and it came up positive!! The best time to take it is first thing in the morning!! Pregnancy hormones show up better in your first urination!! Good luck!!

no and yes go get tested by your doctor just to be on the safe side
