I think that being active is what will help a child focus more on the work they do in school, they just have to find the right balance and if u are going to cut something out make it the tv or video games as exercise and education are whats really important and most kids shouldnt need an excuse to get exercise. they also need a good diet as the old saying goes you are what you eat and if you eat rubbish then you wont function as you should.

Well ,first you mustn't make them feel bored or tired you can do activites for them while they are having the lesson , if you are a teacher you can make your lesson interesting like make your lesson is similar to a game..make them laugh , make for them a rest for 3 minutes only to talk or rest..that's all I can say.........

Why can't they do maths and stuff while doing star jumps - cross curricular activities are important after all
