Girls who have changed from the Pill to coil, have you found a major difference? Guys whose partner has done the same, have you noticied a difference (good or bad)? I know this sounds silly, but can you feel it when you're having sex (girls & guys)?

When you say "coil" do you mean an IUD? I had an IUD once. I had to, because I smoked about a pack a day. The Pill wasn't good for me. When the IUD is inserted, it has a sort of fishing line string coming out from your cervix, and that is the only part of it that anyone (including you) will notice, as long as it stays in place properly. If you feel it poking out of your cervix, let your doctor know pronto! I wound up getting pregnant while on the IUD when it was poking out of my cervix like that. I was on the Pill way before the IUD, so I can't say I really noticed a difference in sex, except I think that I wanted sex more while on the Pill. And, I never had any partner say that they could feel it, even when it was poking out. Was this good for you? Hope it helps!

I have the Mirena IUD..........and have had a very good experience with it. I could not take the pill because it made me so mean my family couldn't stand me. I highly recommend the IUD/coil. My husband has never felt the strings.

If they don't cut the string short enough, he may be able to feel it during certain positions.
I went from the pill to Mirena shortly after my son was born. Everyone I've ever heard opinions from loved it. I didn't, I received a bad infection from it and had to have it removed. It can have it's advantages though.

why do so many people need to have sex for fun? sex should be for one thing only. thats making a baby.
