Jael of America's Next Top Model is bi-racial(European father, mother of African descent. Her appearance is more European and one
would hardly tell she had any African genes at all. Do bi-racial people of her uniqueness find it an avantage that they can go either way?
Do they have an avantage, employment, acedemically, housing, and socially because of thier appearance no matter which ethnicity they
claim to? And do you think most with that option go with the Euro based gens over the Afro if no one can tell? I know in the pass a
woman or man of African descent who could pass for anything other then Black would, becaus societally they would have more
opportunities. And there has been change since then, but since racism and Jim Crow is still lurking but in disguise, do people who
have the option of playing Norman Rockwell over Snoop Dogg do so, or do they play both ends against the middle?

Is it an advantage to be bi-racial, no not yet, they are criticized by both races for the stupidest reasons! I look forward to the future where there will be but ONE race, Bi-racial. I worked in an environment where they actually got picked on by BOTH sides..."too light" "too dark"...not accepted by either race they came from. Very sad to see that in today's society. It's just a color, a pigmentation of the skin! It has NOTHING to do with the person on the inside! I get so upset when ppl talk about "what color/race are you"? WHO cares! I don't. Bi-racial or full blooded or multi-cultured, were all HEINZ 57 variety when you look at our descendants. And lets face it...depending where were at we, humans, tend to go the easy way out. Claiming the side of our heritage which will give us the most at that time of questioning. Could mean a scholarship, job, friends or just acceptance from the stranger who may be asking such a meaningless question!
