Try this first:) Put a little Comet on the stain with a little bit of water..make a paste out of it. Let is set on the stain for a few minutes then scrub it gently. It should take it right out!
Good Luck!!

There is a solvent I use called Carbo-sol. I buy a brand called Sunnyside. It used to be called Carbo-Chlor and then it was reformulated to make it more eco-friendly. I have taken everything from diesel oil to red kool-aid out of fabrics. I think it would work on linoleum and I would feel very confident that it would not harm the surface at all. Good Luck!

Put absorbent kitchen roll on the stain and then iron for about 1 minute. The wax will melt and be drawn onto the kitchen roll.

Buy a bottle of Goo-Off and use it with a dusting cloth or piece of soft cloth. Works for everything. Good Luck.
