Some run into trouble with the math/stats/accounting stuff. But a lot of the rest isnt too bad, business is a field too where when working your social & communication skills can be more important than your acedemic.

The real question is what is your passion? When you find a major that you can immerse yourself in, it won't matter. Every academic degree and some of the technical degrees have individual courses that will make you struggle...we all do. Start by paying attention to your own interests. I know you've probably seen the career wheel.....check out the book, "What color is your parachute?". Start by deciding if you are more data, people, service or task oriented. Then start researching degrees in those areas. Business degrees have a wide range of possibilities. If you head towards communication and PR you will need more written and oral skills. If you head towards banking/accounting then math. And theres a world of possibilities in between. Don't limit yourself based on your experience in HS. For lots of kids, the decision about their "place" in school was made in the 3rd grade. You have skills and capabilities that you dont even know..... college is a chance to explore those. If you have no idea, start in a community college (usually cheaper and lots more hands-on opportunities/labs for freshman than traditional academic majors at a 4-yr school). The key is to begin. Get a course catalog. Page through the kinds of courses that you might be interested it....what degree programs include those? Get started. Don't put it off. You can change your degree/major later. At the same time I believe that if you dont find something in about a year, you should go to work, sock away some money and you will quickly find out the things YOU DONT want to do...lol good luck... be kind to yourself. remember there are no wrong choices, every class will be benefit somewhere later, God has a plan for you.....in the meantime....start. and God Bless.
