I am 19 weeks pregnant..this is my 4th pregnancy *1 lost in miscarriage,2 live births* and I have been having braxton hicks ever since 15 weeks but noticing them more now..they are not regular but they get uncomfortable. I know with my most recent i had braxton hicks starting from 20 weeks until birth at 41 weeks...I drink tons of water so i know its not dehydration or anything else associated but they are bothersome..anyone else experience these this early on? why do these happen so early for me this pregnancy? thanks

Having a full bladder or being hungry or overexerting yourself can cause them as well. Mine came earlier with my second as well. I was 16 weeks when I noticed them with him.

I've only had 1 pregnancy, a beautiful girl, but during that pregnancy my braxton hicks started around 15 weeks. Don't be too worried and if you are don't work yourself up into stress because that's not good for a pregnancy. Just go ask your doctor so you can calm your nerves.

When I was about 20 weeks pregnant I started having slight braxton hicks. At 27 weeks, Shopping I noticed they were getting horrible. So I went to the emergency room. ( my first child and I was nervous). Once I got there they checked me and I was 90% afaced and 1cm. Long story short I gave birth at 30 weeks to a 3lb baby. He is very healthy and smart as a clam. The point to all this is just becareful and whatever concerns you have just ask your obgyn. Good luck

I've had braxton hick since around this time but the doc say it's another annoyingsum part of pregnancy. i was concerened too because sometimes mine becoem a little painful like period cramps but they say as long as they are not regular then you're fine. you feel them more now because your uterus is more lax from havin other children good lucka dn i hope you feel better. sometimes mine are so uncomfortable that i can't stand up completely straight or my body feels llike is being pulled in opposite directions

All women have Braxton Hicks. My midwife called them "practice pains". It seems little early in your case. I think if I were you i would go in and see the doctor. Never hurts to be safe than sorry. Giid Luck.

mine just started a couple days ago and i am 20 weeks. I've learned that they start as early as 6 weeks but you can't feel them till later on. You have nothing to worry about!
