Why is it a crime for a hooker to perform a sex act for money, when a porn star can do the same thing over and over and not even get arrested?

its probably because being a hooker is not a federally regulated job... meaning they cant make them pay taxes nor insure the safety with the customers. A porn star on the other hand, its in a controlled environment, the pornstar pays taxes on his/her wages, and they get tested every couple days for diseases. It will be hard for the govt to regulate prostitution so thats why its illegal
