The first impression is your looks
Then your personality shows through so thats what really counts

Looks as first impression/attraction. Personality after you're introduced and further down the line is very important. No good in looking fabulous if you can't string two words together or if you're a complete a**.
Sense of humour, Thoughtfulness, sincerity, caring, outgoing, friendliness are all good attributes to have and make a person very attractive in my eyes.

Definitely a bit of both, but I think personality takes priority. Looks has to come into it, but what may look not very attractive to one person will appear attractive to someone else. There's just no way to come to a conclusion about people about this..

(sorry I have a habit with going deep about things)

Haha... this is from question isn't it. Cos you said it got you thinking. Well whats the point of dating a really cute guy if hes got no personality?..... there isn't. If you get someone with both personality and looks.... you got yourself a good one. You see like you have personality and looks.... I've seen your pics and your questions and answers ;)
But a pretty face will soon grow old and wrinkly.... personality isn't going anywhere.

Different situations - different things. You may start talking to someone over the phone and so it is based on personality, yet, most people will see someone fit in the street or out at night that they want to talk to because of their looks.

All depends on where and when.

I think it's a mix of both. You can look GREAT, but if you don't have a personality it's just not worth the trouble. It's like talking to a brick wall.

both.

If I see someone I fancy it's no good if I don't like their personality.

Usually if I'm out somewhere and I hear someone laughing and having a bit of craic, that catches my attention. Then it's just a matter of whether or not I find them attractive

Both! Personality is all well and good, but there needs to be a physical attraction too. If the spark's not there, it's not there...

it's not "all" about one of these
because you have to be able to get along with someone who is gorgeous, and you also have to be attracted to the person who makes you smile.
thankfully, a good personality can increase how attractive a person is (and vice-versa)
i would prefer to have someone with a stunning personality and a bland face, as opposed to someone with a stunning face and a bland personality.

Personality. Looks faid away in time and personality is all we will have left. Anyway you don't or at least should love someone for their looks. I like people to be who they are.
