I'd check out TimeZone: http://timezone.com. They have a whole section just for Jaeger questions and discussion. They seem to know everything about watches. :)

I have some books on used watches. I'll look it up when I have time, if someone else doesn't answer beforehand. I own 3 LeCoultres from the 1950's: 1952 "Beau Brummel" hr, min, sec hand-wind; 1953 "Futurematic" self-wind power reserve; 1956 "Memovox" alarm. The manager of Bailey Banks & Biddle in San Francisco's Stonestown tried to trade me a gold Omega dress watch for my "Memovox", but mine is worth much more than his, and I wouldn't trade it anyhow, for I love it.
