Hi, I recently damaged some ligaments in my arm. My forearm has healed but I still cannot staighten my arm. any advice?

use the other arm to write, then it may make sense

You have to keep exercising the arm to get the ligaments to stretch. Do them slowly so you don't re-injure the arm.

You may need physiotherapy. When I broke my wrist I went to about 6 appointments where they prescribed me different strengthening excercises from stretching a large elastic band to flattening my hand on the table. Contact your GP and have them refer you to a local physio.

Just to add, if you are in the States, it is called Physical Therapy here. And, in your case it sounds like a good idea!

Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area.

I would seek the advise of a physiotherapist.

They will give manipulation to it and provide you with a set of stretches and exercises to regain your lost mobility
