So I have a web site now, which has products/services that a lot of people will enjoy. How can I maximize its exposure so that more and more people can see that it's out there? Right now, it's just an oh-so-lonely site, unbeknownst to many. I've posted the link on Craigslist and Yahoo Classifieds...any other ideas?

Thank you.
G.

Build inbound links to your website.
Most of the directories online charge a one time fee to review your site and add it to their index. Here are three of my favorites:
http://www.avivadirectory.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=kahmer
http://www.kahmer.com
http://www.joeant.com
The more inbound links to your site, the better you will rank
with Yahoo / Google / MSN.
Also work on your meta tags. Here is an
article on how they work: http://www.richkahmer.com/meta-tags.html

It would be a good idea to start getting your site listed by the search engines.Go to as many sites s you can think of and look for a link that says something like "suggest a site"
There are on-line submitters that can help with this like http://freewebsubmission.com/ I've used this in the past they will also suggest improvements to your HTML to make the site more search engine friendly.
