Well, you can track down the LEGAL arguments about a corporation having the same RIGHTS as a person. They're actually fairly lame, having been inserted into a decision by some clerk in Los Angeles right near the beginning of the 20th Century. Even so, they may be interesting.

As for arguments on the actual topic, find events where they were debated. For example, lots of CEOs make pro-moral-behavior statements. On the other hand, there also are many arguments against shareholder resolutions promoting morality. Start from some specific issues that wind up in specific shareholder resolutions, or at controversial companies, and bootstrap from there.

Wal-Mart is controversial
Big polluters are controversial
Polaroid used to be controversial because its ID cards were used by repressive governments
Tobacco and alcohol companies are controversial
Food processors are controversial

Ben & Jerry's moralizes
Salesforce.com moralizes

You'd have more luck posting this under homework help.

Check wikipedia, yahoo, google, etc. Search for the Walmart boycotters. They usually have some great arguements. Also, look at things like Enron, and other high-profile legal cases.

Exactly why did you post this in media and journalism, again?

Do a Yahoo or google search. You will find all the information that you need. I know that I (and most likely eveyone else here) am not going to do your research for you.

This is your assignment, not ours; and since you will be the one to reap the benefits of a good debate, you do the leg work.
