It's very unlikely that you would have become pregnant that close to your period. The best time is 12-14 days after you period, this is when you would most likely be ovulating.
My only worry is whether you're actually old enough to be getting yourself pregnant. If you're still referring to sex as doing "it", it suggests you're pretty young !!!

Hi there Im also trying for baby! And without luck :-(
Ok, the best thing to do is to roughly find out when you are ovulating.
Women can ovulate anytime of the month, normally it is 14 days BEFORE your period. Some can ovulate earlier/later.
You are prob unlikely to be preg at this time.
Do you live in the uk? There are ovulation tests out, Im using them at the mo, and I got them from boots, £20 for five tests, incl a preg test.
What this does is measures the hormone you have when you release an egg before ovulation. There is a good guide as well to explain when the best time to have sex.
You should also contact your doctor, as they should be aware that you are trying for a baby. You can ask any questions then.
Good luck in the baby making :-)

You might be, wait 2 weeks then take a test, if it is positive, then see a Dr. if not then try again right away. People say u cant get pregnant on your period, but u can,so you can pretty much get pregnant at anytime, also sperm can live for 72 hrs, good luck!!

I would say this time round your chances are pretty slim, you need to be mid cycle, so around 12-14 days after your period, you shoudl be ovulating. You can buy ovulation kits to tell you when your most fertile they are not that expensive.
Good luck

dont take the fun out of making love with all of the planning *when we can have sex next* just do it every night!! or at least every couple of days, a baby will be conceived when u least expect it!! if you have been trying for a few years then it may be time to worry, but not, yet have fun for a bit while you can BEFORE a baby arrives!!! good luck and keep us posted!!

It's not very likely you are pregnant if you had sex that near to your period and your cycle is regular. If you don't get your period, then test a few days after that.

How old are you because the way you have put your question makes you sound very young, and we are only on the 8th march now so too early for panicing or excitement

i would wait till you are about a week late from your period before doing a test cos even if you are pregnant the hcg levels (pregnancy hormone) will not be strong enough for the pregnancy test to detect
