The other Night i had a dream that there were burglars in the house. I dreamt they were hiding waiting for me to walk by their hiding place. So in my dream i took my baseball bat from the side of my bed and went downstairs. Our house has a long hall and i sprinted up and down the hall checking every room. And when i opened the door i really swung it so it made a bang off the wall. I sprinted up and down belting into the doors for ages, i was really scared in my dream thinking it was them or me!
The Next day. I woke up and my baseball bat was in the middle of the floor and all the walls downstairs were damaged where the handle had knocked plaster off the wall.
It was very very surreal. I was just glad i a hadnt found my dad up getting a glass of milk or something.
I had been seen sleep walking before but i was not trying to hit anybody the other times, i was just walking around.

Maybe you are a danger, to yourself as well as your family. I suggest you get booked into a sleep study clinic ASAP

Human brain is a very strange thing. From your description, it appears that you have experienced and done the works in your subconscious mind in the REM phase of your sleep. Sometimes, the brain may dictate us to activate our somatic motor functions even in sleep and we do those activities without rationalization in a state of hypnotism.
Don't worry much for this sort of events. You just need to resort to a psychiatrist and most probably, you would need some hypnotic drugs for better sleep.

You could possibly become a danger to others if you allow it to go on without seeking help for this. I don't sleepwalk, but I do have terrible nightmares (PTSD) and have taken a swing at my wife in the middle of one of them before. It really scared me when she woke me up. I suggest talking to your regular Doctor and getting a refferal to a sleep clinic. In the meantime, tell your family to lock their doors at night! Seriously, get some help before you hurt yourself or someone else.

Why didn't your dad wake up if you made such noises?
Addittion: Ok i see.
Then i also aggree that you should see a doctor. There are a lot of sleep walkers. It's good for you to be concerned more about what harm you could cause to your neighbours than yourself. Remember, you could also hurt yourself, so you really should see the doctor for a sleep study. Best of luck!

You might be a danger to people you know and I would recommend locking up all possible weaponry somewhere secure like the basement or the attic. I have never experienced sleep walking before.

If you are able to lock your bedroom door at night it might help you feel better, but the problem is you will know where the key is.

Its probably just a one off I slept walked once and was really worried about doing it again but I never did, my boyfriend talks in his sleep and sometimes sits up he tried to drag me out of bed once by leg because he was dreaming something weird. Just let your family or who ever you live with to listen out in case they hear again in the night and to just be careful if your carrying a weapon. You slept walked to protect your family not to harm them.

well i don't sleep walk, but if you were happy then maybe you would have happier dreams. Maybe you are feeling insecure about your house being unsafe, but you are not a threat to peope you love if you can realise you love them and take control of your dreams
