I wouldn't put it past him. I am not surprised at anything this obnoxious man does now, after the way the London Eye was given the OK on a nod & a wink. He seems be determined to cover the South with concrete and to have no knowledge or care for the countryside.
I am disgusted that he has recently given permission for a 50-story tower a mile behind the Houses of Parliament, over-ruled the decision of the planning comittee. Several listed buildings have already been demolished to make room for it. It makes me wonder about backhanders... UNESCO have complained about the fact that it will destroy the view of Westminster from the Thames. Who is going to stop him doing what he bloody well likes? Look out, Hyde Park!
To me, he shows Tony's poor judge of character, that he'll go off on holiday & leave the country in this man's hands. I wouldn't leave him in charge of a burger van. What qualities does he have, exactly, to make him suitable for his job? Two jags, three houses - it's the hypocrisy of it that gets me. 'Old Labour' but plays croquet in work time.
Perhaps if he wants my back garden I'll offer him a backhander to go away!

This is not true. Gardens are already regarded as brownfield sites and if the owners want to sell up to a developer to build flats, then there is little that can be done if planning regulations are met.
It's the get rich quick house owners you should be attacking, not the government.
Don't use your dislike of Mr Prescott to spread false accusations and cause anxiety and upset.

Really? But the whole reason we buy a big garden is so we don't have people living too close! I hope he sorts out his garden(s) before he comes bugging us!
God - I wish I could emigrate. Until then though I'll stick with my three dogs, they won't hurt a fly but the look of them stops the people calling!

Where did you hear this? New one on me.
But Prescott has lost his power, and later this year he will lose his job.
So get your sunlounger out in YOUR garden, and relax.......

Does he want it to build on or does he just need somewhere to park his flabby gargantuan gut?
