Why is it wrong to eat humans?

When its ok to animals.. Why are humans more entitled tol life if both lives must be equally as important to the one living it, and neither should be important to me right? because im just a selfish human, and ive always got along with animals better anyways. So why can't i eat people?

well if u think about it u probaly wouldn't want 2 eat people. If we eat people well to many than there may no b very many people left 2 care 4 animals and 2 keep the earth going. plus there is alot more animals on earth than people.But u do have a point that it doesn't seem right but there r alot more animals and there is many difrent kindas and if u look at use we only have 1 kind unless u say color matters. i really wander well im pretty shure u would not llike the taste of humen beings. And if u well animals have lots of things that we can do wit like eat the meat, use the leather, for turtles there shells, animals skins, and many more things and with use u could just eat the meat and there is not much meet if u think about it. so i would rethink that thought u probaly would not want 2 eat a humen. im like u 2 i luv animals but if they get over populated then u now thats not good. we only eat the kindas of animals like deer usally like beacause u no theres alot of deer.

It does make sense to eat humans.

~ Cow, Pig, Chicken Meat does not have the exact protein match for humans compared to human meat.

The reason why not to eat human meat.

~Lifestyle. Humans would need to be raised as cattle.

~ Disease. If you eat human meat infected with something you would likely get it too.

~ Where are we gonna get this people from?

If we use criminals, what happens to a wrongly convicted person?

What if it is like a lottery?
What if we eat the old? (Would be kinda stringy meat with the longer life spans now!)

The reason why is that morally we find it offensive with our current social status at this time.



I am sure if some horrid event happened people would do what they must to live.

Plus things would change if there was a solid way to regulate who is gonna be a snack food.

Well, just looking at your picture I understand why you are asking. but, I find it very unconfortable, when I can be sitting next a person who wants to eat me. Since we are boath humans, I do not think that you have the right to eat me. Just like I do not have the right to eat you. It is not the way things are. Even, in societies where humans are eaten, thay are not eaten because human flesh tastes good, but because it is a part of a religious act. such as eating the brain or the heart of the elderly dead. or certain parts of a virgin human scarafice. They do not eat the human like they eat an animal, but they eat to gain wisdom or gain purity. At least that is what I learn in my world history class. But that was thosands of years ago, and is only found in New guine, I think.

And you can not eat a person, since it is like murder. and you are stealing their life. It is not like eating beef. You are eating on of your own kind. That is just wrong. And besides canabalism causes serious brain disease. just like mad cow disease. You know mad cow disease is a problem because they mix animal flesh and feed it to the cows. cows are not meant to eat flesh. and we are not meant to eat human flesh. our bodies at not made that way.

one final note, you are sick. if you are serious about this. let me know where you live, so I do not even think about going where you are. I can not trust a wanta be man eater. And if you can not find some one to eat you can eat your self. people have done that you know ( some girl had a project on that topic in college,I can not forget that day,so i do not have the citations).

First of all why is humans considered more important than animals? Because we know how to communicate with each other and not animals.
Why is it OK to eat animals and not humans? Because we can communicate with humans and bond with them in ways that we can't communicate and bond with animals. Pet owners are less likely to eat meat from the kind that their pet animal is because of that bond.
There are also the moral reason. Since we can communicate amongst each other as humans we have decided that killing each other is morally wrong, and we have made laws about it. To get fresh human meat you have to kill the other human and that's a problem then.
There is also the idea that humans have souls and animals don't, that somehow justifies us killing animals but not other humans. Unless we are at war, then just about anything can be justified as long as you are on the winning side.
