I am a graduate from non medical, assert me the subject that will be best for me

Six months/one year. But you will have to decide a strategy before you take this exam. The exam syllabus is so vast that i to cover whole of it even in 2 years wont be possible. Opt for History or geography(Dont go for Maths, physics, chemistry etc. Experience says these subjects are a bit difficult to cover) Best of Luck!

Gentleman,
The period depends upon your knowledge level, your commitment and devotion to the course you have taken (subjects i mean),and the environment that is available to you for study.
Your self effort , without any distractions ,and a good knowledge and committed attempt will surely see that your ambition is fulfilled within about two years.
read a lot of reference books..and remember what you read.
Have the Goal always before your mind's eye.
