I have recently started to received somewhat explicit emails in the form of a daily newsletter. I did not request these or go on any sites which have similar content. I only have access to the internet at work in my lunch break so this is a bit embarassing! My main concern is that they have my email address and also my password! (which is displayed on the top of the news letter.) I don't know how they could have got this information and I am really concerned now that this could be used to gain access to my online banking, for example. I have changed my password to my email account and was going to try to unregister for the newsletter but it seems I have to' log in' to the main site to do this. Help! how do I stop them and what precautions can I take to prevent fraud.

I agree with adam, If you don't know the person Don't answare it. Things like Subject "Hi there" and "just a quick one" form people you don't know. They usually have sexy names so you open then wanting to talk to a person who may have got the e-mail adress wrong. These contain all sorts of nasties!

In outlook express highlight the email in your in-box go to message, scroll to block sender, click on this and any e-mails from this sender will not appear on your screen. If you don't see them you will not open them .
