Yes, saw most of the programme. It just shows that everyone should follow a sensible eating plan, rather than a starvation plan. Ignore the size 0 requirement of the fashion world, unless you want to make yourself ill.

I know some people that are size zeros, but they are just naturally small they don’t have to diet and exercise a lot. I watched the programme and I think that it is terrible to think that young girls want to be that small. The thing is I reckon that Louise actually was less than a size zero because the dress and least I think that it looked too big for her. However did anyone else think that the American fitness guy made it worse by telling Louise that she looked great and that she didn’t look to thin. (I can’t believe how much exercise she had to do, no wonder she was so ill) Also I know that the media need to show these sort of shows, but I think that there is also the danger that a young girl / woman would have seen the programme and despite the warnings will actually try and follow the diet just so that they can be smaller.

I watched it and i can't believe that some people don't eat to get that size, its ridiculous every one comes in different shapes and sizes and we are all losing that uniqueness
there is some people who are naturally thin and eat like a horse my friend is a size 8 - 10 and wishes she could put on weight. She is always eating but stays the same size no matter how much junk food she has
It's the same the other way though people automatically assume that if you are over weight then you must eat loads of junk food.I was over weight but mine is caused by pcos which is a hormonal condition, I have to make sure I eat right and exercise to stay at a healthy weight.
People are too quick to judge and they don't always know the facts but then it's always been like that and things will never change.

My mum knows a lady that is a UK size 6 and she has the measurements of a US size 0. But she isn't happy and wants to go down to a UK size 4, which is a US size 00. We think she may have an eating disorder.
HTH.

yes I did to. Louise is very petite though so acheiving a size 0 and still looking semi ok is achievable for her. If she were taller she would have looked really ill.
You could see she wasn't happy and did look a little ill, she does look better as a size 8.
I do think though there were some bad points to this programme as it has basically told girls who may be inclined to want to be a size 0 and maybe a size 8-10 now how to acheive it in 30 days and shown them its possible to do that to.

I missed this last night but I don't agree with people trying to be size Zero's it is barely existing
I am 5ft 3 and a size 8 (UK) and people always tell me I am to thin but I eat more than all my friends who are bigger than me but still get all the comments like "what do you have for dinner a carrott" or "you need to go on the Mars Bar diet" (I wonder what they would say to a size Zero???)
I went to the nurse once to see about getting a diet to help me put weight on and she laughed and said that I was the first person to complain about being slim.
Sometimes people don't understand that it is just as hard if not harder to put weight on as it is to lose it and us slim people get offended by the snidy remarks about our weight as well.

I wanted to see it but i missed it, does anyone know if it is going to be repeated?
I don't know anyone who is size 0 (which is UK size 4) but i do know someone who is UK size 6 which is size 2 in US i think? She has always been like it though and eats like a horse. She wishes she could put on weight and at times is the subject of a lot of peoples jokes. Its not something she wants to be but she can't help it
I guess there is always 2 sides....

Yes. I can't understand why we continue to let the fashion industry dictate to our young girls what they should look like. I couldn't believe a 12 year old with an eating disorder. There are some people who are naturally very petite & small boned - but they look in proportion to be that size. Seeing the horrible bony, skinny arms on the models. It just ccan't be good for you. Louise was very strong to do what she did. She seems such a happy person & she was really knocked out of it by this diet.

I wouldn't put myself through that.
I am 54years of age now a size 12, when I was a teenager/young adult I was a size 0 but with a 38 inch bust (not plastic) 18 inch waist & 30 inch hips, but then I am only 5ft in hight.
One of my friends is a size 0 and she looks awful, like death not warmed up.
