I support a lot of people and have a lot projects at work, most of them long-term w/ some short-turnaround tasks. I seem to have no trouble getting the quick tasks done, but never seem to find the time to focus on the long-term things. Then, when the long-term deadlines are looming a little too close, I assume an overly optimistic idea of what I can get done, get all stressed out, make mistakes, then miss the deadline anyway. I need to stop this cycle, but I don't know how. Thanks for any suggestions...
